Have you even been to Marine Drive?
I am sure you have.
Have you even been to Marine Drive at night?
Okay, now why is she asking this!?
Well, every Mumbaikar has a special place in their hearts for Marine Drive. For me, I have taken the most life-altering decisions at that place.

So, when I went there the other day with one of my closest friends, all I wanted to do was feel at peace. I did feel that, and a whole lot more.
Right where we sat, a group of young college kids, started meeting. One by one, they started taking out their guitars and singing. I don’t know if you believe in serendipity or not…but this for me felt like a sign. There I was looking to find some peace, and I was offered exactly what I needed.
Music has been and always will be a big part of my life. I have gained a lot because of it, but I have also lost a lot because of it. Even so, I don’t think I can ever call it quits on that one relationship in my life.
Maybe that’s the price you pay. “A musician’s curse” as some like to say.

All I know is that’s my everything. I don’t know where I would be today if it wasn’t for music being the creative outlet that let me be me and made me feel accepted.

Of all the countless books I have read, Hubli (Hubballi) and its narrow lanes that lead to beautiful, ancient houses built on the architectural design of southern India still fascinate me.
